Professional Advertising, Commercial Photographer based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Eric Murphy Photographers are based in a 3000 sq ft fully equipped digital studio in the heart of Newcastle’s “creative centre”, the Ouseburn. We shoot on Hassleblad H3 d39 digital backs and state of the art electronic flash, and the studio boasts a large purpose built infinity curve.
We are a small Award winning company with 3 full time staff, who are dedicated and enjoy a challenge. We shoot for our clients both on location or in the studio, in the UK or abroad.
We have over 20 years experience in advertising, commercial and fashion photography and our clients range from international Blue Chip companies to local clients.
THE STUDIO FACILITIES
Eric Murphy Photographers , home of Newcastles Largest film and Photography Hire Studio, Bananastudio, The “Holborn Studios” of the North. The studio is staffed full time by a Professional Photographer ,an assistant and an in house runner/Stylist.Infinity cove for large product shots.

EQUIPMENT
We shoot on Hassleblad H3 d39 Digital backs, Canon and Nikon 35mm digital . Using Hassleblad bodies and Carl Zeiss lenses to ensure the best results available on the market today.
File sizes up to 100 Meg.

PROJECTS
NHS and Public Sector Photography
Eric Murphy photographer has vast experience shooting for the NHS and the public sector on many high profile campaigns. From the opening of the New childrens hospital in Manchester to drive aware campaigns in Devon. Travelling on location and shooting from his studio in Newcastle on various campaigns, he has the experience to deliver the finished results.
Edinburgh Woolen Mills
Some re-editted shots from a location shoot in the Isle of Skye for Edinburgh Woolen Mills. Part of the pre production for the shoot was a recce of the island to pick the best locations for the shoot and to make sure the direction of light was right for the timings of the shoot. All the post production work was done at our studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. The models where selected from a casting from Boss models and PHA in Manchester.
The 5 day shoot involved the new seasons collections for both the woolens and the golf range.
With over 25 years shooting experience, we can project manage the full shoot for all our clients.
